Nice chapter. So Chigusa learned the truth about the world. It must be difficult though since she doesn't remember Yuji. Hecate and Kazumi are a great team when they're synchronized. Shana seems to have gotten through to him for a second, but those new enemies are going to cause more problems...

LMFAO! That's quite an exaggeration in regards to Johan's worst fear being Pheles's wrath.

Quite a trend in seeing that Shana, Kazumi, Margery, Hecate, and Pheles being more powerful than their respective love interests. Of course, Yuji is the exception for now due to SotF.

Well done. It looks like the final battle is coming up. It'll be interesting to see how everyone takes a part in this battle, especially Shana.

Now we have three key pieces to redeeming Yuji: SHana, Johan and his mom. All that's left is Kantaro.

And so they prepare for the final battle, with Shana on the front lines and Johan replacing Yuji as strategist. Speaking of which, I look forward to the tactical clash between the two strategic Mystes. I wonder what kind of tricks and traps each side will pull.

Even in defeat, the Snake of the Festival is an extremely dangerous enemy. This was probably all a Xanatos Gambit.

Whenever I read about Yuji being like this, I can't help but liken him to Vader.

When he wakes up, I can kinda picture a scene like the one where (like in Star Wars Episode I) the hero has a choice whether to defeat the Big Bad or kill his old allies to protect the ones he cares for most.

Either way, it would be an awesome battle.
