excessivelyperky 2008-10-04 ch 33,	abuseI feel sorry for both Harry and Snape--Harry can't find out enough about portraits, and Snape is around the wrong kind for too long (at least when he was spying on Voldemort, he could come back to Hogwarts and take points from stray Hufflepuffs). Then again, he's not suffering through physical pain and weariness, either. Here's hoping both of them can catch a break soon.

I wonder if the actual person that the portrait is made of is dark or the person who made the portrait was dark. That would make a difference. If her murderer made the portrait that would explain alot. I'm glad you said I caught something no else caught. Because it seems that a portrait leaves some of the person behind. As a way of Immortality. As if somembody mastered the correct series of spells, they could potentially come back. All the pureblood families must have heard of this, why else would there be so many portraits if they didn't think they had a chance of returning to earth one day in some shape or fashion. I would love for Severus to return but NONE of the others. I'm not too sure about James. I was really ** him for the way he talked about Lilly and behaved in front of people. I think being left along by Sirius changed his tune a little.
