| ryn 2008-09-25 ch 14, anon. | abuseThis is by far my favorite Blaise/Hermione story. I can only read (and really enjoy) canon!Blaise, and I'm so glad you chose to go that route. Thank you for updating twice in a row.(I take it you know what the say about third times being the charm, right?) The Draco you've got here is in character - he's not an angel or a devil, he's just a confused - but still fairly bad - boy. I think Draco's analysis was off-base and says more about him than anything. He's too self-centered to realize that, yes, well Blaise is known to be the jealous type, he already cares for Hermione and the warning to Draco to stay away from her was for her benefit and protection. Draco doesn't know how to look at things from other people's point of view, so he automatically assumed that Blaise was worried about Hermione cheating on him. (While not true, it is possible Draco could've planted a seed of doubt, though). Anywho, that's my take on it. Great chapters, and I look forward to reading more. |
