fire bending is just fire really u can do lots bit with earth bending u can smash and rip but wind wand water beding are my favs cause with water bending uv got healing offensive deffensive and my faveriote blood bending but even more so wind bending compress the air in an enemys lungs then let it explode out among other thingsid raTHER FIGHT AANG IN THE FREAKING AVATAR STATE THAN KATARA thats how much i love yet am scared of blood bending

OMG! That was SO good! And all the characters were really in character. Five stars! *

Well, that was... *shivers* ... okay. That was actually a really good fic in my opinion, it was sweet towards the end, and the fight scene was fairly well written, plus the characters were all very, in my opinion, in, well, character... However there are a few things I have to say; first off, I'm pretty sure that the characters have all killed before. In Sokka, Aang, Toph, and Katara's cases it have to be random Fire Nation soldiers... well, actually in Aang's case it'd have to be that one Fire Nation general from the first season (heck, looking at the end of the first season, Aang's killed a LOT of people). The second thing is that this has made me start a list of what I think of as 'Forbidden Bending Techniques', because there was another fic I read where one of the characters did something sort of similar in that it was, effectively, a one-hit kill (and yes, I do mean kill) and it was probably somewhere beyond painful in terms of suffering through it. This is the second time I've seen this sort of thing, but I had to make a list... also, this was pretty dang brilliant.

I absolutely love that the vividness you manage to bring to every story you write has appeared in this! I love the gravity of the story, and the fact that Zuko actually found a way to connect with the Aang Gang even though he's much more of a loner. The fact that Azula got what she deserved was nice, too.

Whoa! Good point, blood IS liquid, after all and... *Walks around muttering to self* Okay, Zuko's account of the kill is great. It really reflects on how he's actually caring :) Er, yes, I quit watching Avatar because of cable problems right before the Painted Lady episode aired, so I don't know how Zuko's personality turned out exactly, but that explained a lot and put me in a good mood :) I'm not a real Kataang fan, but this changed my mind. Oh yeah, about COLAD, I still haven't thanked you for explaining Kazehana's name to me. Thanks =D Dammit, can't believe I forgot to say it earlier *Bangs head on table* Okay, I'll stop now before my rant kills someone.

I know what you mean! Seriously, when Katara turned mist to ice in the Fire Nation drill, I just thought, "Well, jeez, humans are freakin' BAGS of water!" But no such luck; 'tis a children's show after all, and bending someone's blood at the full moon was probably as far as the writers were allowed/willing to go.

But otherwise it was good! I have a water-controling character too and I've always known that he would be able to control people and their bodies. Human bodies are 75% water, after all, so when I saw "The Puppetmaster" I was like, "Well, DUH!" I actually have the idea that he does something like this to some of his enemies, only he's mostly unconcious when he does, and they're not really human anyway. But whatever.

Anyway! Can't wait to see the new chapter! ^_^
