I think the interaction plating out between Light and Kallen is very accurately in character. She would very well suggest inviting a "kindred spirit" into the Black Knights, and of course, manipulation through love is one of Light's most prominent tactics. I agree too that Lelouch wouldn't be interested in C.C. because she wasn't even human. I can't believe I hadn't thought about the fact C.C. might be carrying something.
Aww~ I didn't wanna think on of my favorite characters might be a slut. :C

One thing I'm not sure of is the ending of this chapter. I think this story might have lost my willing suspension of belief with the article tribute online. Don't worry, I like it way too much to just stop here, but...well there's a -chance- that her death would still be recognized even after Charles' infamous "What of it?" attitude, but Lelouch and Nunnally's name wouldn't be mentioned at all. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Lelouch renounced his title to the throne when nothing was done about his mother or his injured sister. And if none of common Britannians knows Lelouch and Nunnally were royalty and the higher ups wanted to keep it that way, then there's no way they would post there names on the internet. At the very least of it all, I personally think it makes Light's job way too easy. :D

So my question is, where are you going with your story? I'm curious!

Lelouch vs. Light is really... intriguing

I was a bit wary of how well a Death Note/Code Geass crossover would work, but this turned out amazing! I love it! The characterization was spot-on and I enjoyed the interactions between all the characters-- though I'm a bit biased and would have liked to see Lelouch come out on top more. I'm curious as to what Ryuk would see over C.C.'s head. I mean, he can see her name and her life span... Which would be... what? Zero, since she's technically already dead? XD

I'm looking forward to the next chapter and can't wait to see more of L infiltrating the Black Knights. Oh, and I'm glad this isn't yaoi, since I'm not a big fan of it and it's so hard to find good het/gen fics.

This story is simply TOO amazing for words! So much epic pwnage...I starve to read more. I can't believe I didn't see Mao being the one who died XD It makes sense...
LightxLelouch...awesomeness. Code Geass is the love child of Death Note and Gundam (or some other mecha thing) anyway, so why not? XD Ah, the thing with Shirley and the "Lelouch...you 're gay?" had me in stitches! 8D

Well I liked this chapter a lot, mostly for the L/C.C. interaction in the beginning. You have a good grasp of those two.

I really don't have much else to say because how nicely this chapter flowed. I think you're improving greatly without me anju-chan. Although I still like being your beta...

Well that was a bit of an anti climactic way to find out Lelouch's secret, if not the most realistic. It's going to be hard for him to keep the rest of them at this rate, knowing that if Light does join the black knights. He'd probably see C.C. floating around. Though I suppose Lelouch could just use geass on him. He'd lose a big advantage though.

Oh snap, Light has the upper hand now. Not only does he have an in to the BK, but he knows Lelouch's real identity. I imagine that getting into the BK and seeing Zero with C.C. will tip him off about that too.

It's looking like Lelouch is outmatched here. L could be his only defense against Kira, should Light decide to remove Zero. On the other hand, I think that a Zero/Kira partnership could be interesting. Zero's intelligence network would let Kira get at the nobles who hid their names, and Kira could remove a lot of Zero's problems in return.

I eagerly await your next update.

Light always (or most of the time) seems to have the upper hand. It's pretty funny actually, because of the little rivalry that Lelouch and Light have.

Bad news for you on the review front. I can't type much. I haven't got my ergonomically correct keyboard OR my wrist wraps. My laptop keyboard and mouse... they're killers, and I've already had to type up a bunch of shit for homework. If I type too much more, I'll die. So this is going to be SHORT. *rubs wrists*

Sorry for missing my usual review for every chapter. I didn't want to have a "no, my shiping!" (btw KallenxLulu...and now I'm a fanboy)

I'm not a huge fan of KallenxLight, but I can see how it serves as a vehicle to bring Light in contact with the Black Knights.
I enjoyed L's interactions with C.C., as well as that little pun (R.R.)

I do love the twist at the end. I've always wondered why no one in canon guessed "Hey, these two Brittanian children in Japan by the name of Lelouch and Nunnally...they look/are the same age/live in the same country as those members of royalty"
