| Neverwill 2008-09-11 ch 6, | abuseI find it interesting that finding out about Chase, then being hit with the medical emergency Chase because of Chase's seizures, has caused House's defenses to weaken enough to allow his father this chance to reconnect with his son. I don't think there would have ever been an opportunity for this to happen if House wasn't so off kilter because of everything that's happening; Chase has almost become background in the story. I hope Chase will be recovering and be able to go back to practicing medicine (no lingering handicap). I'd also like to see him wake up soon so he can start forging his own relationships with House and his grandparents. I look forward to another update. |
| Halo666 2008-09-05 ch 6, | abuseYour curious ha? Well you know what they say.Curiosity killed the cat. BUT! Seeing as your not a cat. I guess I can give you that review your so CURIOUS about. I love it. The story is great. The only sad thing about it is that Chase & House won't end up together. I rely love Yaoi, but other then that can't what for the next chapter. Up-date UP-date UP-DATE!(giggle) No rely you beater up-date soon I RELY LIKE IT! |
| GeeLady 2008-09-02 ch 6, | abuseThis reads like the Shakespearian tragedy - I mean that in a good and wonderful way -- like poetry almost too painful to read. As for Houses' personal emotional struggles - been there, am there . . .I feel for him. As awesome as expected. |
| anitablakevampirehunter 2008-09-02 ch 6, | abuseOh this was a really good update! Nice and long. I really liked the interaction between Wilson and John House, nice dressing down there - Wilson certainly needed it! Really excellent, and I am now looking forward to more. Hollie : ) |
| Slight Imperfections 2008-07-18 ch 5, | abuseThe requested review! :D I think your writing style is very unique, very deep and introspective. It fits very well with this kind of story. Now I'll have to go explore some of your other fics! :) |
| anitablakevampirehunter 2008-07-14 ch 5, | abuseI like where this story is going! Like your other story, Disintegration - I like the House and his Father moments! Really good. Where the heck is Wilson!? I imagine when he gets back on the scene there will be words exchanged! Looking forward to more Hollie : ) |
| anitablakevampirehunter 2008-07-14 ch 1, | abuseHmm, after you recommended this to me, I started to read it - obviously! I wasn't really sure what it was going to be about, but I found myself pleasantly surprised - I've never read a House is actually Chase's biological father before. Anyway I thought this first chapter was really good, and my favourite line was, "You were born from a bottle," she'd told him once, her voice deep and slurred as it so often was, her blonde hair so pale that when light hit it he could pretend she was made of stars instead of flesh and blood." I thought this was very poignant - and I read it a couple of times to take it in! Really enjoying this so far and now I'm off to read the second chapter - lol Hollie : ) |
| melniewn 2008-07-12 ch 5, | abuseThis is an interesting story; think you'll finish it? I have really enjoyed reading it. |
| Green Penguin 2008-06-18 ch 1, | abusebeautiful, beautiful story--had to reread it all today and just noticed i didn't review for most of it--silly me. i love what's developing here, and things're just turning out at just the right pace and time. you do have the timing down, and its a great story. can't wait to see more of it. i miss seeing house-chase rapport--they're two great characters that play off each other well, and i do see them very much in a father-son type of way. Keep it up, its a great piece of work. |
| heas 2008-06-11 ch 1, | abusegood job. I like stories were two of the characters find out theybare related. |
| LostSchizophrenic 2008-05-08 ch 5, anon. | abuseI adore this story. I just love it, it's absolutely wonderful. I can't wait for new chapters, every time it's updated I have to read the whole thing over from the start because it's so good. Anyway, I can't wait to see what happens next--when do Wilson and Cuddy find out that Chase is House's son? Will Chase be okay? I hope so...Great job! Please update soon! |
| Green Penguin 2008-05-08 ch 5, | abuseoh wow, that emotion is just...whoa. can't wait to see more, and poor chase, i wonder what they can do for him. i'm really wondering if cameron or foreman will ever find stuff out or whatever. its just something that hit me today. i guess i gotta reread some of it to remind myself of a few things (damned internet is incredibly slow for me lately so i haven't yet), like if they're both long gone or not. but no matter what, i do love this emotional and physical focus of our two fave guys ever. its so great and its a wonderful story, with so much feeling. this is the closest i've come to crying while reading a fanfic. wow. keep it up! this is so great. |
| The Ghost of FF. Net 2008-05-08 ch 5, | abuseWonderful chapter. I love your writing style. Great job! :D |
| Danes 2008-05-07 ch 5, anon. | abuseYou know, I really liked the summary and the prompt (I need to check that fest!), and the first chapter was so awesome. But after that, it's like the story is about all topics on heaven and earth BUT about the relationship between House and Chase. In fact, when you get into that, it's about House worrying about his *son*, and it really doesn't seem to matter that he didn't know he was his son up until recently, or even that his son is Chase, the guy he knew for ages in a totally different context. It's like he's suddently turned on this "care-about-my-son" button, and it's weird that he's not struggling either with the "caring" or the "son" parts. But the first chapter was very good. |
| Neverwill 2008-05-07 ch 5, | abuseGlad to see more of this; almost no one is posting it seems like so I've been jonesing for something new! I hope Chase isn't going to be brain damaged or something. Hopefully his physical issues will be solved. I was thinking that House must have been feeling contrary when he fired Chase. I can't imagine him suddenly feeling all possessive/paternal/invested in Chase's condition solely because he found out he was his father. He must have been feeling some of this before and his paternity has only given him a legitimate reason to care (even if it's an uncomfortably unfamiliar emotion and is triggering his fight/flight response). Keep posting! |
