You wanted constructive criticism, you got it. Sometimes I find it hard to tell who's talking, or who's here/there. Example, at the very start I didn't know who was the one I was reading about. Then Jude walked in, so it kind of explained itself. But when that happened I was pretty highly confused.

And because they're both 'he's, it gets confusing if it's not just 'Max said' or 'Jude grumbled', you know? It's fine if it's girl/guy (but where's the fun in that? ;P) but it can get kinda oddment when the characters are the same gender, you know?

I've only owned this movie for about a week and have watched it at LEAST three times a day. I'm addicted and should probably be mildly ashamed by that, but I'm so not.

That being said, I've been rooting for JudexMax since that very first moment with Max droppin' his ** all over the place and Jude being such a gentleman and helping (his mama obviously beat some manners into him).

You write some of the best characterization of them ever... This was seriously a fun and amazing read, perfect and I totally loved it. Major kudos.

And I totally agree with your disclaimer.

And of course, if you had owned the movie, I most likely would have liked it better than the original...though shamefully I admit I have yet to seen it *(sorry, a mother to take care of and all) but still, I'm sure I would like it better. Lets face it, I do like the way your mind works my good woman!

As for the fic, it was great. very descriptive and very good for the characters... kept them in character, which was good.
Again, as I say always, I like Jude and Max having little affairs (erm, because its HOT!) But all in all I like them more as friends. I love the little fics with the two together though. Like this one.

You have no idea how glad I am to have read this story. Most ATU fics always take Max out of character. It was perfect from beginning to end. And, I completely understand what you mean about him and Johnny Depp being man-pretty.

Being a Max fangirl in the highest degree, I concur on the man-pretty front. He's like Cillian Murphy only, uh, rather more rugged. You can't really mistake him for a woman, though, he's got a lovely bone structure under all that cute. Oh, and the stubbly!Max factor might throw it off a little. Even in that apron...
