I going to bump this story. After rereading the whole story just now. I never realized how much I miss this.

Lovely chapter. Really cements the difference between Jordan and Brian. Jordan has always kinda made her uncomfortable in that delicious way but Brian feels cozy. He's the kind of guy you can talk to all night long. Sex or conversation, you know? Too bad they aren't K-I-S-S-I-N-G in that tree, lol!

Here's my feeling. If Angela ends up with either of them she'll have to make sacrifices. I'm not sure I want that for her. At this point I don't know if I could see her with Brian long-term. BUT. I definitely can't see her with Jordan long-term at this point. She's an intelligent writer and hopefully mature and what can he offer a woman like that? He's too simple-minded. MY opinion. She would fit better with someone smarter, who has passionate ideas like her and I think she will see that (unless he's changed, and you give a good reason for that).

On the other hand, Brian has a lot to offer her and always did because he was at her level; he was smart, funny, opinionated and passionate. But I'm not sure if I like him yet in your story. He was my favourite character on the show because he was so real, it was like watching reality TV with him. Maybe he wasn't the smoothest guy around or even the best guy but I got a kick outta his awkwardness, hot temper, and neurotic intensity. In your story he seems perfect so far. I get that he's matured and that's great, but I want to see some of his old self come back into play... characters aren't interesting without flaws.

I love how you wrote the contrasting interraction Angela had with both Jordan and Brian. Jordan is exciting and unpredictable. Brian is safe and predictable.I think what Jordan does not realized is why Angela is hurt with his sexual dalliance. I think he does not understand some basic cues about what and what not to be and to do with a girl like Angela. I can understand him. Angela in high school was out of his league. He's use to girls who are into wham bang thank you mam thing. Brian on the other hand is also way out of Angela's league. He's so mundane, calm and your basic white bread-stick-to-the-rule guy in high school. Angela was trying to rebel from that safe cocoon. She's trying to build her life as an individual. But realistically. she should be way over Jordan. Yeah Jordan was her obsession in high school but he did not made any lasting impact in her life. She moved out of the state she was in for 10 years. And with those ten years she could had develop relationship with other guys, have a career and build a solid foundation for herself. Wasting that ten years pinning for a guy whose not worth it besides his good looks is unrealistic. Unless she had some major issues regarding her self esteem.

This story is fabulous so far. Please update soon :) I've only recently in the past few months gotten into 'my s-called life' and especially jared leto. I love angela and jordan centric fics... Keep up the amazing work :)

I think you have some good stuff here. I loved Sharon's reaction to Jordan--she never liked him.

This story is one of the first I've seen where Brian isn't ignored as a potential love, since given the last scene of the series, how could he? I was so disappointed that they didn't kiss in your flashback. Four years is a long time to mull over what could have been. Obviously that kiss needs to happen, and Jordan needs to explain himself. Then she can finally decide between them. I honestly would've thought she'd get over Catalano by now because she was with him and it didn't work (he cheated)... who the hell knows if her and Krakow could work? Ah well. Love is love.

I loved how the meeting went and I'm also loving the quick update. Are you going to get any more info on who he cheated on her with? Not that it really matters because cheating is cheating but i'm just curious. Anyway, looking forward to chapter 5. ~LJ~

I'm glad you update this immedietely. Now when you mentioned Jordan Catalano, I am on edge now. I do find that the MYsocalledlife fanfiction authors are the best. Now if they could just update like our leaders Kissing rain and Asher Monroe. That will be great;)

Now why can't the fanfic writers here ever written a script for the actual show. I love how open you are for changes and how flexible you can be. I certainly love this new version of your fic kissing rain. I can't wait for the next installment. Angela's anger for Jordan is more justifiable than before.

What I'd like to see? Well, let's just say I'm a fan of anything Angela/Jordan. I read it all, but am particularly fond of the fanfics that lead in that direction.
