Wow, that was so good!! ;) I especially loved the ending cause it's so real. Its true that in the end Sakura has to choose and make the decision that will make her life. But wahtever decision she ends up making she'll always feel like she has left something behind...therefore its difficult for her to even choose.
Again, great story. I really love it!!

This was wonderful. The ending was choice. Leaving it for the reader to decide. I love stories like this and that makes it unique. And even though I usually dont support NaruSaku parings I think he deserves a somthing nice in this fic since he's such a sweetie.

I am completely rooting for Naruto! What a sweetie! But seriously, Sakura needs to be more violent with Sasuke...teach him who's boss.

Gah! I hate SakuNaru... But Sasuke is just a little too smug in this, so I hope she walks away from them both =)
(But of course later realises she belongs with Sasuke ;) )

Although initially I wanted her to walk to Naruto, who has been there for her since the beginning, and who has always liked and supported her, I almost want her to walk away from BOTH of them. It seems as though a part of her will never let Sasuke go; obviously there is still that attraction, but it's very...off-putting, his arrogant behaviour. He just walks out of town, breaking her heart without even a second glance, and years later, comes back, expecting her to pick up where she left off? He never even asked her what she wanted, just assumed that it was still 'him'. She's grown alot, matured alot, which is probably the thing that is attracting him, but if she chooses him, she'll be inadvertantly reverting back to that 12 year old child. He is not ready for a relationship. This is obvious in his line:

“I don't... hate you, Sakura. Yeah, you're annoying, but I never hated you."

He can't even properly portray his feelings to another person, can't give a compliment without throwing in an insult as well. But perhaps he simply doesn't know how? I almost hate him for breaking into the fragile, blooming relationship between Naruto and Sakura. And being the type of guy Naruto is, he'll want Sakura to be happy, and probably won't fight. But this too, is an almost arrogant assumption, because he, like Sasuke, also did not ask her what she wanted. He too, assumed that it was Sasuke.

I don't think either boy is really ready for something like this.

She should be walking away--choosing independence and solitude over hurting one of the people she cares most about. Sakura has matured, hasn't she--it wasn't long ago that she would have refused Naruto's affections on principle--so I think she'll understand these kind of concepts. Furthermore, since her training with Tsunade, her power has increased exponentially, which is what is mostly responsible for the boys' new respect of her... Shouldn't she respect herself more too? She's just getting used to the idea of being an independent entity, but I think that rather than being forced to pick one she would rather keep both the boys as friends.
Of course, that doesn't mean they'd be satisfied with that. Certainly Sasuke would be frustrated. He's finally giving her what she wants, isn't he? Shouldn't she be happy and graciously accepting? The truth is, though, that Sakura's new independence is part of what made him begin to really like her, so it couldn't slow him down for long. Naruto would be a little confused, but since this "validates him as a competitor", as it were, he would swear something like "I'm not going to lose to him", and keep trying. He'd have a bit of an advantage, because I can't see him stopping being Sakura's friend just because of it... while Sasuke undoubtedly would distance himself--at least for a while.
Sakura would probably be a little flattered by the attention, but to her, the delicate emotions involved in the situation would take precedence. Part of the boys' objective has to be to get her to stop worrying about the repercussions of her actions and just go with her heart.

Ahh, psychological analysis. What fun it can be within a story.
