Poor Addison! I think Derek is a douchebag for never explaining to her why he became so distant with her. He does act like the end of their marriage was none of his fault, when in fact, that is not true. I don't think she should go after him. He's not worth it.

Great start! I love Maddison stories (which I hope this will be). Based on this opening chapter, I have to place the blame for the breakup of Addison and Derek's marriage almost entirely on Derek. Looking forward to reading more.

Oh... please continue this. I like love pre-Seattle Maddison.
