I got behind, so far behind reading, and then behind reviewing, but I did read this one and I did enjoy it. I'm so glad to see a fic from you again, and pretty soon after the last one. Here's hoping that you took that muse out and beat the you know what out of her until she started behaving again.

I really enjoyed this story - loved what you did with the prompts. Loved your opening paragraphs about the art galleries - very creative - and I immediately saw Dean in "Provenance" :). I really liked the styling of this as well - the jumping time frames that set the story.

I'm thinking "flu, shmoo", what's the big deal? But then we get to the awful truth of the matter. Great job. First Sam was worried about Dean, but then Dean truly was frightened for Sam because of the Civatateo. And the "Winchesters don't die of flu" - oh, boys!

Really enjoyed that, loved how you went between now and then it added an extra dimension to the story. Guess maybe because the Civatateo was dead Sam managed to fight the illness, though the image of a dog chewing on her bones was worrying - hope it doesn't absorb her traits and come back as something evil itself!
Well written and you had the boys really in character!

Lovwe the challenges you and Trasan do, using the same ingredients you end up with two different meals. loved dean going out without his shoes and his frozen little piggies. The dog chewing the bones has me concerned, what if the civatateo morphs into a black dog or something worse?!

Great story. I loved this because of all the wonderful brother moments and Dean's toes...lol although I really love Dean taking care of Sam too.
Mostly I wanted to say how much I loved this description-"Dean’s attempted response was lost to a daisy chain of sneezes."

love the format of this story- with the backtracking. That worked really well. And it was great that you used the Civatateo- haven't seen one of those in a fic before. Wasn't really sure how Sam beat the sickness in the end where the other guys didn't- was sort of waiting for Dean to discover or come up with something to turn the tables- but I guess sometimes just being a Winchester is enough!

hm, gotta say two things: one, it's amazing how you and TraSan can have the exact same prompts and come up with something so completely different but equally brilliant... and two, I much prefer her dog-chewing-on-bones moment... much tamer ;)

This story was great and perfect timing coz needed something to read and distract myself :) Awesome, awesome story!

Oh, and I thought my heart was gonna break with Dean taking care of Sam and saying "Winchester's dont die of the flu", it just made it very real how serious the situation was and how scared Dean was. I love that he was talking to Sam the whole time and how you told the story through that and jumping back to four hours earlier. With your knack for death fics, I wasn't convinced Sam was going to make it! lol But I'm relieved he did and it was a great moment when he told Dean how much he hated him :)

Oh, I so loved that one ! I really like when the boys are either sick or hurt (or both!). Yep, call me evil, but I do. And I absolutely loved that first part where Dean's running -apparently for his life- and then you realize it's just to get away from Sam. Great way to bring the story in !

Great little mini-story of battling the Civatateo. I like this twist on the legend and the parallels with both boys being sick. Dean still has time to flirt with the waitress AND get his brother home to bed. AND kill the MOTW!

I like your Sammy stories; you should do them more often. :D (hint, hint!)
