Oh, that was lovely! I laughed, I gasped, I laughed, I laughed some more. It felt like an episode, with the characters on form and the hijinx at full throttle. What I particularly admire is how all the characters maintained solid presence - it is so easy to focus on a few characters in one plot line, and shortchange the others, but 'the search for Rodney' and 'Rodney's aggravating day' both came through strong, each with their own imaginative twists. Even the brief scenes with Carter rang true and had unique charm. It's clear you've thought this through in great depth, thank you so much, it was a joy to read!
