So I finally read this. It's a bit darker than your usual, but very introspective and deep. I quite enjoyed it. Not enough people put emphasis on the study of Kenshin's character as a rurouni and how that affects him emotionally. I'll fave it. :D

I liked it. Short yet touching. I believe Kenshin felt this way. Really really liked it :)

I really like the second paragraph. How true that people develop survival mechanisms then use them well passed when they are needed limiting themselves.

That was so touching. Kenshin probalby does feel that way. He never wants to get close to anyone, there's always this imprenetrable wall between him and the rest of the world that can't be broken down unless he willingly takes it down. I find it so sweet that finally he admits his feelings to himself even if not to Kaoru.
