Shadow Hunt
2009-10-10 . chapter 1
I remember reading this AGES ago! I decided I really wanted to reread it since I just love it so much, and I was shocked that I had forgotten to review when I had first read it. This story honestly has so much potential and originality... Gah! You really need to update this sometime!

Oh wow, I've already fallen in love with this universe. It's been over a year, so I can only cross my fingers and hope you're still working on it, because I really can't wait to see more of it!

How kyute! I would totally join Greenpeace if Riku was recruiting! I wonder if there's anything environment oriented on my campus...Anyway, Sora is beyond adorable. Can't wait to see them get coffee together. And see Sora try to get his body home. lol

Wow! This was so pretty to read! Like, Sora's reactions to everything (Riku especially!) all had something so pure and delicate to it!! It was just so... beautiful!!

I think my favorite part is close to the end when Sora is amazed by Riku's eyes (and his own too!) I think that's just so cool!! Like, I wish we (myself included) would take more time to notice these things!

There are little parts here and there that remind me of Stephanie Meyer's The Host but I think I like yours better!! Well, I never finished reading the Host because I just couldn't get into it but reading your story is making me want to give it another shot!!

So, was this a oneshot or will we get to see more? I'd really like to see how this continues!!

Ooh, what an interesting premise. I wonder how this is going to work, what with Sora not having his own body and all. Imagine what Riku would think if he only knew exactly WHAT he just asked out for coffee...haha.

That was kind of cool, but i was hoping from more after, you know, wishing that it wasn't over. But still good, still amazing.

So, this is the big earth day fic. It kinda reminds me of SM'S The Host. The only thing about this story is that its not Sora's body and that's kind of freaky.

update soon please, this was awesome. Ah earth day, all i remember was darkness, most likely because all the lights were off... wait, that was earth hour... anyway, i really like where this is going. it's a really interesting plot-- though i have to admit, i'm worried about sora... like what is he? without his "host" what in the name of the heavens is he... he cant just be transparent smoke can he?

Oh, my word, this is definitely different from any RiSo fics I've ever read before. The way you describe about the complicated beings we are, humans, are wonderful. Almost too wonderful... Please update! I might just draw a fanart out of this!

Holy shit. All I can say is "Wow."

Really, that was so, so beautiful and I love, love, loved it. I'm extremely environmentally conscious myself, so the whole premise behind this is really quite beautiful, to me at least.

And the way you handled it is so breathtaking. I especially loved the "lifeprint" concept you threw in there.

And the part about Riku's eyes!! And Sora's eyes!! Gah!! It broke my heart because of how perfectly lovely it is. So lovely.

I can't, can't wait until the next update!!

I really like the beginning of this story. It's well-written, and I find Sora's innocent fascination with human life to be absorbing and interesting. I'm just wondering how he's going to survive--I don't think he came very prepared to lead an earthen life, and he doesn't know anything about his host. What happens if someone who knows his host tries to talk to him? It's questions like these that make me want to read more.

Just one plot question: why does Sora feel the need to go to Earth in the first place? There's a lot of talk about how the people on earth are destroying their planet, but I wonder why that has caught the interest of an alien race that is obviously far more advanced. I don't feel any undertow of an interplanetary ecological system, so it's not like the idea of where, if say rabbits die out in a forest, every other animal in the food chain suffers as well. If earth dies, so what? How does that affect Sora's home planet? Is Sora simply travelling to earth because he's a compassionate being whose curiosity leads him to explore farther from home than most of his species would go?

I'm reading Orson Scott Card sci-fi books right now, so questions of motivation arise. Just as countries don't interfer with other countries without motivation (even if that motivation is not greed but something less logical and more compassionate), I wonder what would make Sora want to help earthians (earthanoids?). Great beginning, I really want to see what happens next.

I like that little detail with the blinking. It's interesting! Not something I'd think about, but once I read that it makes perfect sense! xD
Very nice. I like how Sora acts. >3
