This well written. Even though it din't happen, I always thought Rosalie should have talked to Bella about the change beforehand. She can see both sides of the story.

70,0 fics on this site and I’m lucky enough to stumble on a TRUE original. How on earth did you write this? It’s new, realistic, raw, heartbreaking, eyeopening…I could go on and on- I’m just in awe. I’ve always disliked Rosalie, mostly because I never considered that she could possibly be this complex as a character- but you have truly opened my eyes to something new. Bravo. Keep writing, you have a new fan.

Rosalie is absolutely one of my favourite characters ever. Because she's just-- awesome. (And one of the only ones who doesn't worship the ground Bella walks on, so.)

You made me like Bella in this, which makes it worth it right there, since I tend to dislike her. Like, a lot. : P

Oh my gosh, I LOVE it! I can totally see Bella choosing to wait a few years. And I love the details. I love that she was afraid of losing her clumsiness. And Rosalie was perfect. You captured their relationship so well. And I also love the line at the end that Rosalie was going to become very important to Bella. I think those two have such an interesting chemistry, and I'm glad to see them becoming sort-of-friends :)

This is the best fic I have read on this site. This was so natural and believable. It was so realistic. Thank you for that. I have been waiting for a story that shows Bella fearing becoming a vampire. Because seriously if she wasn't nervous at all, well, then she's not human! I loved the talk with Rosalie. Rose is my favorite vamp in the series and so she sounded so human and personable and alive in this story. You really gave everyone character. This is awesome! I love their talk and how Bella's decision is open ended. As im, us the readers are allowed to end it how we want. I love how you gave Bella fears of everything she is doing as "last" things- last brush of her teeth, last sandwich, etc. It gave meaning to the story. And I love that Bella's a bookworm too!!

This is my favorite Twilight fic. Ever.

It's always been a problem for me how easily Bella is willing to sign her mortality away. I think in Eclipse we begin to see Bella doubting her decision, at least a little bit, but you're right ... there definitely needs to be a scene like this fic in the next book. Otherwise it is just so unrealistic (not like the entire book is realistic considering the vampire and werewolf stuff but you get my point).

I also really like Rosalie and I think that most of the fics around here - and the books themselves - don't really do Rosalie justice. There's a lot more to her than a shallow, vapid, bitchy vampire.

Thanks so much for posting this. The writing is amazing, the characterization is perfect... and honestly? I loved Rosalie's power. I think it's incredibly original.

I hope you post more of something else soon. Or even another part to this (Edward finding out about Bella's decision to wait a year or two would be awesome to read!).

I loved the interaction between Bella and Rosalie, and the way you wrote it was very in character.

I also think that in Breaking Dawn Bella will have this moment of realisation...but unlike your fic, I think she'll go ahead with becoming a vampire anyway.

Amazing! You actually made me sympathize and LIKE Bella here. You really fleshed out all that fear and indecision she was feeling about becoming a vampire. This would honestly be something I wish would happen in the books.

And your Rosalie is perfect in my mind. She's got more personality here than we normally see (and I liked the power thing. I always thought it was weird that all she had was her looks when she became a vampire), and the drive and their talk was like a swift kick in the head for Bella, which is just what she needed. So even if she didn't make a complete decision to stay human or to become a vampire, it showed a lot of growth - that she was willing to wait - that I hope we actually get in the books.

Anyways... keep being awesome. Because I like it. ;D

Oh my gosh...a Bella who actually starts thinking about how her decisions will ripple out, recognizes that there actually is more to life than Edward, and a Rosalie who is really intelligent and reasonable. Thank you so much! This is fabulous and so refreshing...I think you did a really nice job of making the characters do/say things they normally wouldn't, while still making it compatible with the way they think and act in the books. Wow I really liked this. I totally agree, thats one of my biggest problems with Twilight too...personally I dont want her to be changed.
