And just like Who Am I To Say, this story is brilliant! The dialogue was amazing, there were so many moments where I could hear their voices in my head. Cassander was done really well too. I could imagine John Rhys Meyers acting like that :P

Love the secret moments that Alexander shared with himself. It was believable, very believable. And I'm glad that Cassander has not won the bet. However, I figured that Hephaestion would not abandon his love of Alexander so easily. Yet with another chapter approaching, I hope that Hephaestion doesn't realize the bet that Alexander has made.

Not that I really minded because the smut was really good, but I'm pretty certain that in Ancient Greek men only made love 'between the thighs' but I'm not complaining because I don't care what they did then because what they did now was hot!

Anyway, I think Hephastian was a little out of character but other then that it was a great first and last attempts at Alexander. I could never write either of the pair so you're doing better then me! I liked the plot and idea

Most enjoyable, although you might find that it’s a bit too strong for this site. Have you considered posting it on livejournal. com in the Alexander communities such as hephaistionfans or strike me still? You might get a more vocal response there. Why so adamant it’s only a one-off? My only criticism is that it goes on for too long and would have benefited from some editing.
