I kind of like the idea of them as a couple but my play on them is that they'd establish a relationship, or at least the potential for a relationship, before they sleep together. I can't see either of them being unprofessional and short-sighted enough to complicate things just to get laid. I've had issues with this myself in the past, particularly with my Jack/Gabby fics, so I hope you don't take it too personally. I think there's a huge temptation to get straight to the good stuff when sometimes you have to take a step back and think 'actually, I can't see those characters moving things so quickly'.
