I really never just close my eyes and sit there for a few minutes after I read stories, but this story is just so... calm. Perfect, in some ways, and pleasant to read.

I am not a major fan of Snape/Hermione; I find it unobjectionable if Hermione is of age, but the pairing alone is not enough to make a story interesting.
As well, I have had experiences with stories where the flashbacks went on far, far too long, and every non-oneshot story with flashbacks throughout it that I have come across, I have abandoned in sheer frustration with the plot interruptions.
However, you managed to bring this all together quite, quite well, and I enjoyed it thoroughly.
I shall be looking out for your other works in the future.

Oh, well done. An excellent example of a "best friend" who is actually in love with his friend but settles for friendship just to be close. I'm glad that Hermione eventually sees that he loves her, and when she thinks about it always has.

I always love your writing. This is just fabulous. I loved Padma's ideas about the Unspeakables. It might have worked if Snape hadn't foiled Hermione. Funny stuff.
