| Jahleed 2008-04-29 ch 1, anon. | abuseThe only problem i have with this story is that you use human items, human everything, with liara going over books, when its the future and the asari are mind melders. It does not even read plausible in many instances because Liara and Benezia isn't human. WHy would they have human things? Think about what you want to do when you write a particular species like krogan, salarian, turian, and the asari. Yes the asari are closer to human looking than the others but they are still more advanced than humans. Another thing is that you do a lot of telling. In writing a story, its better to show than tell. |

I love Liara to pieces, and I've always wondered about her when she was younger, and about her relationship with Benezia. Not to mention who her "father" was--which you handled SO well. I think that character is Liara's parent too. Your writing style is very...awesome. It flows well and you use good words without coming off like you're using a Thesaurus constantly. You write like you have some clear knowledge of this universe, the characters are so...real. I have no problems thinking of a younger Liara, or imagining this wise and beautiful Benezia before Saren came around. Like your other stories (only found them a few weeks ago, but they are very awesome), this is a true gem. :) |
