And I apologize because right now, I simply can't find anything to say, anything to fill this box up with my overflow of thoughts like the last time I clicked "Submit Review: Go"; the only thing that is running through my breath-taken frame is--
It's amazing.
I love how it is written, and I love the story. It's intriguing, depressing, and amusing, thought provoking, sentimental, macabre.

It proves that even in the dark, certain faces can give you light.
If you don't mind my "pun", "analogy", whatever that might be considered, because I disregarded all metaphors when I wrote it. It's just that simple.

What can I say about this besides "I absolutely love it"?

I was checking my LJ friends page before I hastened into my schoolwork, stumbled upon the link to this, and promptly fell head over heels. I adore the fashion in which you're writing this; it's my favorite scene, a macabre horizon with an empty and dilapidating city, the smokestacks in the distance caging in all hopeful thoughts with their vomited-smog reminders. It's the kind of atmosphere that I place a lot of my own works in (not fanfiction; original fiction, hahah. xD) and never before have I ever considered using that kind of slum-like town for an AU. I applaud you like a crazy person. :3
The application of that grim, gothic land of tenements to Kingdom Hearts makes it even more magical. Think about it--wouldn't that kind of setting be a perfect analogy to Castle Oblivion? To me, it could be, and I think it's amazing. I never made that connection until now. Man, you made me THINK! I thought I was DONE going philosophical on that game! xD

The ending to this first chapter only makes me hungry for more with it's last implications, so don't leave me hanging here. xD You have me suspecting all different kinds of things through the whole thing.

Your style of writing is smooth and mysterious, sullen and yet dryly comical at the same time, rich with metaphors and colorful depictions formed in my mind by your words. You wouldn't think a dreary, gray sky smeared with smog, punctured by dangling streetlights and a pair of friends along the pavement could be "colorful"--it takes a certain kind of writer to be able to paint that picture.

Okay I should probably wrap this up. I'll say it again--I ADORE this beginning and I can't wait to read more. :D Woo hoo. I think I need to go do homework now (Though...this was an indulgent stalling from my science tests. -sly grin.-).

I have to admit that the only reason I clicked on this was that it was Demyx-centric, and I have a weakness for Demyx. I wasn't expecting this at all--it's a really interesting and mysterious beginning, and I can't wait to see more. I'll be waiting. (lol that sounded so stalker-like)

I'm really interested in seeing where this goes. So far it's pretty good :D
