That sucks for Sasuke. I'm not a humongous fan of ItaSasu, but enough that I read the fanfictions and feel sympathy for them when it doesn't work out.

The thing about your story, though, is that it's not overly depressing. In fact, it's not really depressing at all, but still makes the readers feel bad for Sasuke and Itachi not being able to together (since it's implied that they were together).

It kind of makes us all wonder a few things, too, like will Itachi come back? Will he in fact start a family, or just get married and then ditch for Sasuke? Just a few questions.

Great chapter. Or story. I don't know if it's finished or not.
