| ChewbaccaCharl 2008-09-24 ch 11, anon. | abuseThis is a very well written story. I also really like the way you explain all of the different timelines into one over-arching story. The flashbacks and fast-forwarded story took a little getting used to, but I agree completely with your reasoning. I know a lot of authors like reviews so they know their stories are appreciated, and I definitely appreciate you taking the time to put this in writing for us. |
| Anon. 2008-09-09 ch 11, anon. | abuseI thought this story was amazingly well-written. I think you portrayed all the characters in the way we expected them to be, humble, considerate, etc. At least that's how I felt - that Link and Zelda would be just like that. The tie-ins to other games was seamless and I never suspected you didn't play them all. It was difficult to read in the sense that Link was always chasing Zelda, but all the more rewarding when they did get together. But maybe that's because I'm a Link + Zelda fan. Keep writing, I wish I could write half as well as you do. |
| Lupi Loop 2008-07-06 ch 11, | abuseThat was an absolutely brilliant piece of fiction! The whole thing was excellently thought out and perfectly exectuted and actually made me like the story of Twilight Princess (which is a miracle, believe me for I do not like that game!). All in all, a fantastic fiction. I do hope you will write more in this genre, you have clearly got bags of talent and I, for one, would love to read more of your work. Lupi Loop. |
| Leo Barton 2008-05-21 ch 11, | abuseAnd, several hours later, I've reached the conclusion. Thank you! That's the most important thing I can say. Thank you so much for writing this amazing work! It isn't often that I find a fic that's just so well put together that I can't find anything to complain about, but in this case, I wouldn't change a thing. Your flashbacks and dreams are beautifully done, and really add an astonishing depth. A love that transverses even time...it's powerful, and though some might think it a bit far-fetched, you've pulled it off perfectly. So many kudos to you! I can't really put into words the joy that this story brought me. Again, thank you so very, very much! |
| Leo Barton 2008-05-20 ch 1, | abuseOoh! I just stumbled across this fic a little while ago, and already it has me enraptured! I love the creation story you've portrayed here. It really does make more sense than the game's version of it. The same goes for the immortality that Triforce of Power bestows upon Ganondorf...a very interesting a viable possibility, and one that I'm ashamed I never thought of myself. I love the ending, as well; the mentioning of the speaker's "funny birthmark" made me almost want to say "hell with reviewing, I want to know what that's about!" But, you deserve this. I have no criticisms, though there is a point in the second-to-last section (the italicized text where Rauru speaks to the king) where you have a bit of misformed HTML: "But bhe/b still lives, in some form" Just thought I'd point it out. And for now, I shall continue reading! |
| heteroceric-heart 2008-05-07 ch 11, | abuseThis is, without a doubt, the most coherent and well-written fanfiction I have ever read. I asolutely love your writing style, and there were several times I just sat back and read a sentence in order to drink it in. I thought you incorporated the canon events of Twilight Princess seamlessly into your interpretation of what happened in the end and all the extraneous events/dialogue. I also was very taken in by the story and your explanation. It all made perfect sense. I thought you did an excellent job of voicing the characters, especially Link. You are, to put it simply, an amazing writer. Overall, I absolutely love this story! Very lovely work! |
| anyone 2008-05-02 ch 11, anon. | abusethat was a great story! i loved it! :) |
| BatmanSwiss 2008-05-01 ch 11, | abuseAbsolutely wonderful!! Truth be told, this is the first Zelda fic I've read. Somehow, I think it will be rather difficult to top this gem! Thank you so much for writing it. I must say that I really enjoyed your writing style. Everything flowed so well, and having played through most of the game, the recollections were spot-on. I was amazed at how well you took that storyline and transformed it so completely and flawlessly. The flashbacks were perfect, and the extra banter between Link and Midna (not to mention Link and Zelda!) were perfectly in character. I imagine that it must have been difficult to keep Link's speech in character, since we really never hear much from him in the games! As a side note...wouldn't it be interesting if the tale could continue with a Prince of Twilight and a Princess of Light? :) I ramble, though. Just let me finish by saying that you have blown me away with this tale, and I will definitely scour the fanfic world for any more of your tales! |
| Aeralyse 2008-04-30 ch 11, | abuseHey! It's ambivalentlight from LJ. XD I thought I'd drop a note on to add to your review pile. I'm going to add this to my fave list. XD XD You should write more ZeLink stuff because you're really good at it. |
| LinkxZelda100 2008-04-30 ch 10, | abusehey, great story! well just like you wanted i added ur story to my c2, great job and keep writing! |
| Hunter of Darkness 2008-04-29 ch 11, | abuseI actually used the fishing pole trick the second time I beat the game, it's really funny to watch. Great story, I'm really surprised it hasn't got more reviews, I know an author likes to know that their work is appreciated. |
| bytemite 2008-04-29 ch 1, anon. | abuseA powerful take on the character of Link. Exploring the timelessness of the pair is an idea that has always been intriguing to me. It makes me curious how the past Zeldas maintained the royal line; I can only imagine the breadth of her sacrifice over the centuries. I somewhat hope (and perhaps suggest) that your next story might be a take on this from Zelda's perspective. |
| Sam 2008-04-29 ch 11, anon. | abuseWow. An incredibly well-done story. I loved how you wove your own story into actual Zelda canon. You did it extremely well. I also loved the detail that Midna inherited the triforce of power after it abandoned Ganondwarf. A really great story, and I cant wait to check out what else you have written. |
| tcrpgfan 2008-04-29 ch 11, | abusevery good job. Although I personally don't have much of an end for my zelda timeline theory. It could really be any game in the series(except for those games where it is known to have a sequel, like ww, oot, minish cap, and fs). I'd put tp more towards the middle myself, because there are a whole bevy of questions. With the most prominent one being "is link heading towards or AWAY from ordon?". I could see where you are coming from though, and I respect that. Besides I love the series so much my myspace is based off of link and a good portion of my top friends on that site are zelda fans. Plus you might want to check out a little site called . It's run by a major zelda fan, who basically points out( to the best of their abilities) the very, very erronious things within the zelda community. Cya. |
