I'm still reading this -- but just had to take a moment and tell you how much I appreciate the work you put into this. What an accomplishment and your writing is just wonderful. My aged mind, even though I was a huge fan of Hill St Blues- back in the day, just doesn't recollect the characters so well. I lost getting all of the character work you did on those sections because of my poor memory. But I can tell you how much I'm loving the terrific job you are doing capturing Hutchs and Starsky's voices/dialogue/relationship... nice stuff. Hope you'll bless us with another long one thats all S&H some day -- SOON!

You piqued my curiousity from the very first page and I chose the first option. I wasn't disappointed. Complex, meaty, yet vivacious and thoroughly entertaining. It's worth reading just for the quality of the dialogue but there's a whole lot more on offer. Thanks for the glorious ride.

I liked this read. I liked the other characters... y'know, I've never watched "Hill Street Blues", so at first I thought they wre original characters. And since I only know them from your story, to me they are, and I think you've written them beautifully. As interesting as "our" boys - and that's saying something! The line about having been with bad crowds when you know the color of your partner's blood was great (Loved that one!) and, aw, the fight they had broke my heart. Very true to the season four characters. I really enjoyed this. Hope you're working on more.

Nice Start. This is interesting. Something brewing under the surface ( a certain blond waiting to cause trouble!) I like how you are introducing the other series into this. Nice, refreshing and something new for our boys to deal with!

Looking forward to going on to the 2nd part.
