You know, a while back on the uncon pairings list, somebody issued a Sam/Jed challenge, but no one ever took it. I thought it was because no one could pull it off - but I was wrong. This was lovely - beautiful flow, wonderfully angsty (yep, I love angst). And I didn't think it was too subtle. Just subtle enough, I'd say. Great work.

Okay, first off, very poetic. Really lovely prose here, wonderful imagery. Secondly, Sam/Jed! No, it wasn't overly subtle, and I really loved this. Absolutely beautiful.
