When is the next chapter coming?

It's been a while, so I kind of had to do a little backtracking. So far in this story, you've had a lot of running around and fighting and whatnot. The action scenes themselves were good, but they did not do a lot to advance the plot. Try focusing on plot development so that you don't get bogged down in too many action scenes. I think the way that your story is constructed gives the sense of forward movement, when there really isn't. This might be the reason for the lack of reviews, but that's just my opinion.

Personally, I didn't find Sentinel's reaction to Blackarachnia in Predacons Rising at all surprising, seeing as how possibly even surpasses Happosai in terms of being a jerkass.

That said, I don't see anything wrong with your characterization of him here, either; it feels like it could actually of happened. Predacons Rising has Sentinel barge into a very blunt, direct and heated confrontation with Blackarachnia, not to mention he's already stirred up from chasing Wasp and bickering with Optimus. Here, he only got to see her for a brief period at the story's start, then had time to think about what he saw and what it means. He managed to speak to Optimus and get the full story, so he's not going to charge in without a clue. Of course, you also took pains to point out that, while he's not swinging his lance at Blackararachnia, she still disgusts him with what she's become, so he's still an intolerant bigot and that helps him feel in-character.

In more general terms, I look forward to seeing how this chapter continues and I admire how you're handling the task of Starscream and Blackarachnia coming to actually trust each other. I can't wait to see how you handle Starscream's discovery of the ex-Autobot's true face beneath her helmet, or Blackarachnia's reaction to finding out that Starscream doesn't have a spark in his chamber any more.

Just dropping by again; to sate my curiosity, I watched Mission Accomplished again, and it hints fairly strongly that the fragment does give 'screamer some regenerative powers- the crack in his head is shown "sealing up" after he first finds out why he's immortal, and it's an inferred ability given that Megatron dispatches him twice with sword slashes followed by fusion cannon blasts, and then blows him up with the same sort of bomb Starscream used on him in the first episode. The series tends to avoid showing massive damage too often, but those sorts of assaults have *got* to cause some real damage, don't they?

Also, I don't know if you've seen it, but in Transwarped, the fragment somehow upgrades Starscream to give him a head mounted sonic blaster-type weapon, so I'm curious if you're going to use that element?

Anyway, this is an extremely well written story and I'd dearly like to see how you'll end it.

This is an enjoyable read and I hope you'll continue. I've seen a few other Animated Starscream/Blackarachnia fanfics on this site, but yours is the longest and one of the best written (if not the best written) on them all. I particularly like how you've devoted time to having them actually become attracted to each other.

If you haven't already seen it, watching Predacons Rising (you can find the whole episode easily on Youtube) might give you some ideas for how a meeting between Sentinel and Blackarachnia might go. It also shows what Blackarachnia looks like with her helmet off.

On a random note, doesn't the AllSpark Fragment allow Starscream to regenerate when he "reincarnates" himself? After all, during his "death montage" he got repeatedly fragged by Megatron's fusion cannon... yeah, I know he hasn't regrown a body since he and Megatron got stuck in deep space aboard Omega Supreme, but on the other hand he *was* decapitated without actually being killed, and since he can't die as a disembodied head without dying permanently, that doesn't really prove or disprove. If it does, then I wonder if he could convincingly fake his death and get Autobots and Decepticons alike off his case- make them fall for the old "nobody could survive that" trope.

Don't feel sad, I rather like this story. I especially like how the romance isn't rushed. :) Even after 11 chapters, they're only just starting to like each other. Good job.

by the way i love the parts how Starscream is confused on how he feels towards Blackarachnia.
