Wow, this was utterly beautiful. The whole premise is so dark and the storyline felt so RAW. This is definitely A+ material.

This is one of those pieces that leaves me breathless. I'm sighing for more. It's so poignant and tastefully woven with irony and sensuality. Beautiful.

I had initially planned that to be all I would say, but I want to say more. I have all these half-formed thoughts swirling in my head, but I am still dumbstruck and mind-struck--if there is such a thing--by the sheer...aura and perpetuating awesomeness.

Rich and fascinating -- and relentless. I wish I was properly awake to be more coherent, and I wish I hadn't been reading too fast to keep track of the lines that struck me. Suffice to say there were a lot of them, and, as others have said, "making love to a suicide" was absolutely earth-shattering.

Fascinating premise, and beautifully executed (pun unintended XD) -- the way you've captured the fragility of L's callousness and indifference in the face of Light's persistence, and Light's almost ludicrous tenacity, is fantastic. Particularly I love that they just naturally UNDERSTAND each other, even without seeing, which is definitely the way I think of them.

Quite a standout; excellent work.

Aw..this has got to be one of the best Death Note fanfics that I've ever read. The only reason I can say ONE of the best, well, I haven't read them all. Still, this one is very very awesome. ^_^

I loved the ending, and the fact that Ryuk says "I can see his name and face and lifespan, Light. Isn't that interesting? I can see yours, too!" made me think that since Light has a lifespan, he's no longer Kira at that point. I don't know if that's what you meant, but that's how I took it, even though Light thinks of Kira right before Ryuk says that line. In any case, a first-rate story if I ever saw one
