Positively marvelous ! Stupendously written, though short.
I always wondered how Colette came to accept little Remy.
Well done ! :D

Again, another spot-on vignette that just rings with richness. Your "moments" are delightful in two ways to me-- one, they capture the characters truly; and two, they follow up on the movie in exactly the sorts of ways I would hope for the characters...charming moments of love and affection and growing closer to each other.

I just realized you have new fics up!

This was... so sweet! I was choked up by the end.
I like your name for the culinary school. Is it real? Because the one I made up for my fic (L'Academie Culinaire de Paris) is made up; I researched for hours and couldn't find a single culinary school in France-- as absurd as that must sound!

Anyway.
"Gusteau," he pointed to the jovial, rotund chef on the cover, "and you." He pointed at Colette.
That's got to be the biggest compliment to her. :) Remy basically speaking of her at the same level as Gusteau.

Teehee! Remy's chivalrous. He kisses her hand.

And a perfect last line.

But apart from the details, this idea is so original. Most fics focus on the Linguini-Remy, or the Colette-Linguini or Remy-Emile... the obvious ones. But this is great, because Colette and Remy really are similar on a lot of levels, as Brad Bird has sort of touched on in the various behind the scenes videos out there. I wish I could get my hands on the Blu ray discs, but that's just way too expensive and I'd have to get the player... too much. But I digress.

Wonderful fic! I'm off to read the other new ones (even though I have homework and finals to study for)!

Aww, very cute. I loved how you added in the little bits of French: it kept the tone nice and true to the movie.
