I've read SWAN and the ten chapters of ISH on your website and I absloutly LOVE them. There are seriously no words to describe how amazing each story is. (Even if ISH isn't done yet) I know this isn't really much of a review-but I can't wait for the next chapter!

OH MAN. this is amazing! i cant wait for another chapter! how could the thing in the wall have her? what happened after they left johnny's old house to let the thing make tess tail them? i have so many questions; i cant wait to read more! thanks for writing this ensnaring story! (i say ensnaring in that i cant pull myself away from it. =] )

If you don't mind me asking, why'd you put this under Tess and Edgar? Is it hinting at something, perhaps?

Have I told you recently that I love you?

You know, when I was pregnant, I was rather disconcerted by the changes that spanned over a period of nine months, and the changes in my perceptions and my maturity immediately after. I really can't imagine how incredibly odd it would feel to have it all happen at once over the span of a few seconds. It's a brain breaking thought.

Man, I love this story so far. I love the OC. So many authors deal with OC's poorly, especially children, making them inexplicably too smart, or too special or what have you and usually end up warping the personalities of the characters dealing with them in a way that just doesn't make sense.

You, however, handled her very well. She's a likable kid who does have some weird shit going on around her, but she's not annoying or Mary Sueish, she doesn't distract from the plot, and the plot's not wrapping up completely in what's going on with her, but she definitely adds to the story in a significant way as well as showing a different side of each of the characters. Personality wise, I love her. She's funny and brilliant and absolutely odd while still very much a young child.

And best of all? You didn't do the "With child, we must now stop being totally dysfunctional!" That would have totally turned me off and I would have wept as this fandom tends to be batshit crazy in a decidedly bad way, where your brand is fun and awesome.

Love the update and just your story in general. I've been following it for a while and have noticed that you (and unfortunately very few others) have the uncanny ability to never disappoint with an update. I can't wait for the next chapter.

I wonder how old Banshee is now. She'll probably be catching up to Johnny and Edgar at one point. Wouldn't that be awkward!

God I love the insanity of this story. Poor Johnny and Edgar; they just can't get a break! Tess likes Edgar... hmm... that could cause problems... What is Tess planning? It's sure to be doom-tastic...

Oh wow, this is really cool. I love how you have Johnny showing a much greater range of emotion in ISH than in SWAN, where we mostly see him from Edgar's point of view, which does not give us too much of angry Johnny. Lots of insane Johnny, but I can't think of any instance in SWAN where anyone having an argument was mentioned more than in passing. Certainly says something about Edgar. It's particularly interesting how he seems perfectly capable of dealing with his boyfriend not speaking to him for days on end and mutilating their possessions and generally being pretty crazy, and indicates it's all happened before, yet he's never paid enough attention or it hasn't lasted long enough for it to gain mention.

In short, the Johnny and Edgar fight is AWESOME.
