I like the Fiyero in this story. He's not a complete idiot like in most books, he has some wit about him, but he also has that essence of dufus about him. Which brings me to what might have been my favourite line in this chapter:

"She placed the little box in their hideout and then set out to find her idiot."

LOLOL. It's such a directly spoken, witty statement that it made me giggle outright.

I like the writing style with this story, it's very direct and precise and only slightly proper, instead of prim.

Aww...I like it when Fiyero thinks. Elphaba is really crafty. Nice chapter, Faba!
