i really liked the story until you brought Eowyn into the image. Legolas seemed to have changed almost immediately when one looks at his actions; with Gandalf and Gimli, he seemed reserved in nature, but once he met Eowyn he became almost boyish...

I don't know about you but it seemed to me that you tried to make a romance story out of this... and it was such a great story in the beginning. I can't help but say that the introduction of Eowyn into the picture disappointed me terribly.

This story is wonderful. I enjoyed reading every minute of it, and absolutely will return to read it numerous times. Thank you for writing this in a way that is Tolkien-esque, and is also completely believable. Excellent.

Oh! There's seriously only one more chapter left! I am gonna cry and scream and read this over and over it was so good! Congrats on making me cry again.

Great character development w/ Legolas btw, the best story I have ever read on fanfiction. OMG I will just die when this story is over. PST... Will there be a sequel by any chance?

This was such an exciting and enjoyable, if somewhat harrowing in parts, story to read and I thought the way you managed to set-up each character to follow their original story-line at the end very well done.

This was a fantastic story! I really loved how you managed to weave Saruman into the mix and then straighten everything out so the story would go on as originally written. Congratulations on writing a great story!

Aw... The end has finally come, I have to say that it made me kind of sad.

I've read quite a bit of Lord of the Rings fanfiction since I first stumbled onto this story, but I have to say that this is still my favourite, by far. I just wanted to thank you for all the hard work that you've put into it, it's been such a joy to read; I'll have to figure out what I'm going to do without new chapters!

Very well-written! All of the characters seem true to themselves throughout, the plotline is very likely, and everything ties back in together at the end. The descriptions of both action and scene are wonderful, and I loved the way canon details fitted into the story.

I like the way you give each character space in this chapter, and especially the bit about Legolas where the reader thinks he won´t come along at first. Great to show it from Gandalf´s POV, as one really believes he had misjudged the elf.
