2. I dont think Benvolio is that small...

Don't worry. I understand what your saying. It was, and still is, seen as a sin by the Christian church. In fact, it wasn't only a sin. It was against the law. If someone was caught they would burn them at the stake.

Fun fact: Did you know that when they burned people at the stake, they actually believed they were saving them from Hell? I just learned this recently on the History Channel.

I think the dialogue was pretty much perfect too.

Oh cool! I was just rereading Romeo & Juliet for class, and was trying to think of good ways to slash-ize it the whole time...this is the most obvious pairing, isn't it? Though if you watch the 1968 movie version, there could be strong potential Romeo/Mercutio undertones..they're always all up in each other's space! And then Romeo avenges him, of course...but I digress! About your story: I like the way you wrote it so far, kind of shakespearean-y, but not over the top. And they have a good, believable friendship dynamic going on..I look forward to reading the rest of it! hehe

The dialogue was good, but the rest was...eh... You kept switching in between past and present tense. You really have to watch that.
