I really liked this, espicially how Bill asked Charlie if there was anything else he needed to do and Charlie said to tell their parents he would be leaving tomorrow. Great job.

SaintRidley, Very boyish behavior on Bill's part...it works for me. Molly abruptly leaving the table felt just right and Arthur's commentary was my favorite bit. It was just so...Arthur. A good read!

Yay, a Bill fic, and it has good spelling and grammar, too. I love your portrayal of Percy. I was laughing through his whole "Come down to dinner" speech. I also loved the good-bye scene between Ginny, Ron, and Bill. Anyway, great job.

Well, that went well. Bill 'forgot'? Somehow, I doubt it. Even if he did so consciously, his subconscious wanted nothing more than to reduce thee awkwardness to a bare minimum. Molly is not one to take disappointment too well, and so, I'd imagine Bill put this off as long as humanly possible.

His words at the table were ill-chosen, and rather hurtful, given the fates of the elder Prewetts, but there was no malice intended.

I disagree with his leaving a note. A note is far too impersonal. An apology should always be delivered in person. (That's what I have my daughter do when she mouths off to someone.)

All in all, well done, Sez I! Alorkin

This is very sweet. I especially love the conversation with Charlie, and the end bit with Ron and Ginny. Having said that, I do find the basic premise that Bill simply wouldn't have told his parents till the day before he left a bit improbable. I always see him as the more responsible type! On the whole, though, a nice little Weasley family fic - and I do likre those!

That was nice, and Ginny was really sweet.
