I would happily read anything your wrote in any universe. However i admit that occasionally one of your stories is less approachable than others. This was one, for me, the first time i read it. One factor was my total unfamiliarity with Bleach . . . as well as TV Tropes.

On 2nd reading i was able to get into the story much more easily. (and certainly your stories are worthy of 2nd readings, also 3rd, 4th, et al.) Like Linus reading Russian novels, i just bleeped over the unfamiliar names.

On an unrelated topic . . . in your comments, why did you have to mention Miles? Now i'll be lurking here every day, in a fever of impatience to see how you'll write him/the Bujold-verse into a story!

Actually, I gush over everything you write. I'm just never coherent enough to leave reviews, since usually when I review I make an effort to be constructively critical instead of a spazzy fangirl. I am /so totally/ in spazzy fangirl mode right now.

I liked it. A fun if odd take on things, ways to keep things together while keeping them apart. And yes, the aliens who attacked will be shocked if they realize what their meddling created. :)

You know, I've read this story six times and have forgotten to review until now. This is an absolutely amazing piece of work. The characters were well written and well chosen for the fic. I was a little surprised to see Isane and Tessai, but they fit in so well. Your description of Isshin and Kisuke's anger and why they hold it in(and holy WOW, Shunsui's way of pulling it out of them) was crazy-awesome. Juushirou's mentality due to the entire change is well played, too. Love his new thing for hugging, and how he's pretty much taken over parenting Hitsugaya(who is so well written for his age and the situation that I'm at a loss for words).

I can't help but squeal in fangirlish GLEE every time I read this. Keep up the amazing and awesome. (And now I have to figure out a way to review Shadows in Starlight without squeeing the exact same way, but dude. These BOTH are so much awesome and win, I can't believe they don't have more reviews. It's sacrilege)

You know, this wasn't as bloody, scary, or disturbing as I was afraid this was going to be based on the preview. Likely due to the fact it wasn't written with excess graphic blood 'n gore such as going in-depth on what happens during the transformation from human to Hollow. I like that -- the fact it wasn't so in-depth blood 'n gory.

My only regret is that I don't know enough about Bleach's Thirteen Captains and co to really put faces with names. But then, that's what Wiki articles cross-referenced with Google picture searches are for. However, I do know enough about their sentient swords (lord if I could spell the technical names for them) to truly enjoy the way you tied them into the story. It will be oh so interesting to see how that works out in the long-run.

You've written this oh so wonderfully, I've found myself reading it through two times straight. I'm really, truly, looking forward to see how you continue this little AU universe. It's got so much potential...!

I really, really like this story. I meant to leave a review saying so ages ago, but somehow I never got around to it. If you ever continue this, I'd love to see the next generation of shinigami crop up. For whatever reason, this story just made me very happy - it might have been the hugging. I thought the hair was fabulous, too.

Holy Hell, this was good. It's getting immediately converted to ebook and put on the PDA along side the Yu-gi-oh crosses (Yugi/Yami and Seto vs. Jim Ellison is still a delight to read), the SG1/Gundam Wing cross, Blades of Blood duology, and the Spin Cycle set in my permanent reread collection. I'd have all your work on there in collected sets except I don't have enough memory. Once I get the funds to upgrade to one of the new e-ink readers like the Cybook that's got multiple gigs of storage, your entire set will be transfered over. I love any story you make, really. Some of the best sci-fi fics out there. It's a really interesting concept, hallows coming from a space virus. And how shinigami and such were born, too. I would have loved to see some of the other characters and how they'd changed as well, but it still takes the cake. I like Ukitake anyway. ^_^ I'd love to see a sequel, if the future prospects hold one. If not, it still has an excellent ending that can perfectly lead into events that would follow. Awesome job! Loved it!

Chocolate and Coffee . . . I believe I'm sensing a theme. Any particular reason you like those so well, or is it just how people react to them in RL that's responsible?

I'd love to see a scene with Juushirou's family. For that matter, I'd love to see how you work things out with Ishida and Masaki, since they've both been exposed. Oh, and nice way to work in the Hollow's home plane.

Can all your avid fans expect another forray into this universe anytime soon? In any case, keep up the great work!
