great chapter. good story start. it took me a while to realize who fortunes was but i like the idea of a PR/Beetleborgs xover. I loved beetleborgs not as much as pr but loved it none the less.

By chance, have you read Ellen Brand's Personality Conflicts series? I remember that she referred to the Power Rangers/Beetleborgs/VR Troopers/Masked Rider area as the Freak Zone in her Personality Conflicts series.
