It's a tad late for me to send a review, no? But this is one of the rare stories that I read and went back to re read again to savour the emotions and the subtle meanings behind the lines. I admit I almost cried, but more than that, it tugged so deeply in my heart. I dare say it's one of the best fics I ever read. Amazing.

I felt like crying at the very end. What was said and what wasn't said... it really got to me.

i really dont know what to say. except maybe to tell you that after reading this piece, i had to take a deep breath and just stared into space for awhile. i dont know why, but reading Lavi's journal was a blow to me. he hides to much of himself under all those smiles.

this is such a sad story..even still, no matter how many times i've read it, i still cry.

Ohmygosh that is one of the most beautiful, sad and touching fic I've ever read! *Cries* I usually tend to stay away from KandaxAllen (I prefer LavixAllen), but this was such a brilliant masterpiece that I didn't mind.
