You know, I WAS thinking of waiting til tomorrow to leave this review because then it would have been exactly one YEAR since I left my last review. Which sadly is also the last review that was even left. That sucks dude. Wish more people were taking an interest in this story. It's a good one. I like the end of the world type feeling it has. Really sets a good atmosphere. Well done in that regard.

I'm also VERY impressed with how well you've tapped into Rose's character. I honestly can't remember how many conversations we've had about it but I know I only put her in one chapter really quickly but you've defintily picked up her roll in the group quite astutely. I always pictured her as the heart of the team. Always there to help out her friends when they're feeling down and get them to get back up and fight again. So Kudos on that.

On the other hand, I have to say you've really kind of completely missed the mark on Cobalt's personality. I know it's kind of hypocritical of me to say someone is using a character in away that's completely against the creator's wishes given the kind of fics I write, but since she IS my creation I hope you'll understand why I'm a bit protective of Cobalt. I know I mentioned she carries a gun and has a few placed stragetically around her apartment in case of a break in or unexpected fight with a hero, but she really doesn't have a HUGE arsenal like that. Nor does she really name them or carry anything bigger than handgun. And she doesn't kill she just shoots to wound. Plus while she DOES enjoy the thrill of the chase and stealing, she's still much more about the reward than the chase. She' materialistic not anarchist. Again I can't really recall the chats we've had about her but I don't think I gave the impression she was like that. If I did I'm sorry I may have screwed up your plans a bit, but again I hope you can understand why I'd be a little concerned about this whole thing.

I also feel I have to point out that while Jen might be annoyed at Ron she wouldn't really think of him as an idiot. She'd still respect him for all the times he's helped Kim and herself right now. I can understand she'd be in pain and a little irritable at the moment but that one really seemed kind of harsh. The rest of her portrayal was excellent though. You really seem to have her down pat.

Plus the bathroom bit was REALLY funny. Hehhe, classic misunderstanding scene there. I just love that stuff.

I have some more thoughts but apparently I'm out of room here so next time we talk over MSN I'll go over a few more of my thoughts.

Well I *finally* got around to finishing up this chapter. Sorry it took so long but as I've said before it's been a little busy over here and I'm just not that fast a reader. Plus my attention span kinda waviers a bit.

Anyway, aside from the stuff we talked about over on MSN I have to say this is a really good chapter. Some good suspensful moments, great fight scenes and still a lot of mystery. Like...just what the hell is going on?! I know it'll be all be explained in time but I just really want to know! Oh well, I guess I'll just have to wait along with everyone else.

There is one thing I wanted to mention. At this line:

“This world is coming to an end!” Stacy stated as matter of fact.

The more appropriate response for Dave would have been,

"Oh yeah, like we never heard THAT one before."

Cause really they have. Quite a few times. And even though he would be in shock from Jen getting her ass handed to her, it'd probably just slip out cause he's too use to making smartass remarks.

Just letting you know. Still a great fic and I look forward to the next chapter. Hopefully it won't take me so long to read it.

Well it took me awhile but I finally got around to actually reading this chapter. Good work main, very nicely done. A few problems here and there but I know that's just cause English isn't your first language. Still I got the jist of your story so that's all that mattered.

Interesting set up you have going on here. I'm still impressed that you chose to go with Stacey as a villian, but hey it works. I'm curious as to who she's working with and if he gave her her powers or not. And how where those two girls who attacked her in the temple. And why did one have green skin and an eyepatch?

So many questions still lift unanswered. But I suppose that's what the later chapters will be for, huh? Well can't wait to see them and how everything comes togetehr.

Like Slyrr said you definitely have Jen and Dave's dynamic down right and I laughed at the idea of her catching him sleeping naked. He would so totally do that too. Heh.

Good start and I anxiously await further chapters.

As a correspondant of Blackbirds, I'll be looking over this one carefully. It certainly seems to retain the Jen/Dave thing taht the original MI story had, and that's a good thing. Plenty of action right off the bat, and enough references and culture to keep it interesting.
