Thank you for your lovely, gentle, unusual story. I wish you wrote longer stories!

Very much enjoyed the long friendship and connection between Edward and Teddy. Love and friendship are nothing to be sneered at just because some people have a problem with sexual orientations. These two were good for each other, as dear friends always are. It's no wonder Edward will always carry Teddy in his heart.

What a shock to discover his old frien din such circumstances! Sure set Edward back on his heels and made him think about the real reasons he was doing his 'vigilante' work. Nothing like someone who knows you well for straightening out your thoughts!

Very touching vignette the night before Teddy left for basic training. Edward was quite naive, probably a product of his raising as well as of his times.

Poor Teddy (& his mom), Even before Edward made it up to his office, he was in trouble. It is going to take some doing to get him out of the trouble he is in.

Gotta tell ya, this is such an excellent story. I'm shocked I haven't read it before. It is so touching and honest and even believable. I totally see his viewpoint now of the beauty that he could see in Bella as an old lady. I loved his beautifully compassionate nature and how it transferred over into imortality. I also loved Thomas's view of E being stuck mentally at where he was at 17. Brilliant.

Your twilight stories are absolutely beautiful, sorry, never read your other ones so can say nothing about them,
you've given such depth to characters of Tw saga, after reading your stories Edward and Carlisle seem like real living people to me! You've got a real talent, I'm in awe.

Your research for this was phenomenal. I love this Edward. There's something more serene about him by the end of this, than what is found in canon, and yet one can imagine passing years lending bitterness.

I would have so liked to read the end of the story and read the rest of the stories. Somehow I believe that you would have created a wonderful crossover fanfiction of HP and Twilight (an Edward/Hermione pairing for example). It would have been a pleasurable read of that I'm sure.
