| Warriorcat's Spirit 2008-05-10 ch 2, | abuseI've never played the game, but I've heard of it. This looks interessting... |
| nikkilittle 2008-05-07 ch 2, | abuseThe actual quote from the Gnome Elder is: "In the Card Guards' compound a particularly rough Diamond holds the key. Retrieve it. I will... repay the favor." The gnome elder's blimp is pedal-powered, like a bicycle. The key is used in the locks around the gnomes' heads. This is a plot point that is never pursued in the game, probably due to a missing level. |
| nikkilittle 2008-05-07 ch 1, | abuseIf you're planning to write an adaptation of the game, the following website may be useful: http://w.morbid./alice/eng/dialogs.html It contains the complete dialogs of the game. For purity's sake, I'd prefer to see the actual quotations from the game. You might also want to consider that the game has missing levels. At the very least, I'm convinced that a second Red Chess level is missing and a level in which Alice does something with the key she gets in Pandemonium. There's also the question of Alice's missing allies. Surely she has more than white chess pieces as allies. You're undertaking a most ambitious project. I hope you're aware that is littered with unfinished, abandoned novels. I also hope you're aware of Lani Lenore's "Behind Sanity" which is a complete novel based on the game. It would be very tough to write something of quality comparable to that. |
