A most satisfying end to a wonderfully written story. The convolutions of love and emotions came across very well, reflecting the real world's messy complications. At the same time you managed to wrap it up nicely at the end.

As always, the dialogue was top notch, with just the right blend of argot from the series interspersed with original teen-speak. That's a tough one; too much from the series and it feels recycled, too little and it doesn't feel like the characters from TV. So nice work on keeping it balanced.

I think my favorite part was the very end, when we found out just what motivated Ron's momclone. Most excellent and unexpected. And the name pun was great too. "Barbara Ella" indeed!

I think the only thing that I felt slightly out of place was Shego not being quite as hard-assed as I think she is. But that's just me. I'm not sure she would've let Dr. D off the hook quite so easily. But a more in-depth view into the Shego/Drakken relationship is probably another whole story unto itself.

Overall, very well done!

Nice job tying all the disparate couples together. And you even found a place for Ron's mother's clone. Well done.

A delightful wrap-up to a fun AU story. The Bueno Nacho scene came off nicely. Penny and Josh make a cute couple. Don't know if Barbara and Midas have any potential, though. I wonder if there are any single Greek actuaries out there?

A heavy burden lifted from my soul
I heard that love was out of my control
-- Leonard Cohen

This was a very satisfying conclusion to a inventive tale about the convolutions of love. What I really enjoyed was that the story didn’t concern itself solely with Kim and Ron. The romantic fates of all the other players were given equal weight. In fact, K and R’s happy ending preceded Tara, Josh, and Barbara Ella’s. Interestingly, it is the clone, the only character who did not find a mate, who gets the last word on the entire affair.

You’ve made Tara into a very complex character in this story. One could argue that she was the one who had the toughest time of it and also made the toughest sacrifice. Her prescience in the scene with Kim Bueno Nacho was the heart of the story. (“Kim, the reason he goes out with you on those missions is because he loves you.”) If there is some residual iciness to her friendship with Josh, well, one can forgive her for that.

I really enjoyed how you ended the Drakken/Shego section.
Once you revealed Shego’s intention and gave Drakken the time to both get used to the idea and to even almost screw it up, you STILL surprised us with a romantic/slapstick ending.

Kim helping Ron to ask her to be his GF was a wonderful moment. I especially like how she announced it with such enthusiasm—I could see her doing that. The Seder as their first date was also a poignant touch.

My favorite part of the chapter, however, was this exchange between Tara and Kim:

“It’s in Ron’s hands now.”
“I see,” Tara said as a mischievous grin spread across her face. “Now that’s so the drama.”

Indeed. Good show.

Great job on the closer for this story I must say that I didn't see it coming. I'm glad everything seemed to work out well for everyone even the clone. Nice touch with having Tara still ** at Josh for ruining her relationship, I mean you do gotta think if he would have kept his mouth shut how would things have turned out. But you can't stop fate I guess it's just like a freight train. So great job on this one.

Okay, cue up the Jack Jones vocals...

Just when I think you couldn't possibly find another character from the KP Universe to incorporate into your pastiches, you prove me wrong... twice! And delivering four (or is it five?) happy endings was just the extra dollop of whipped cream on the cocoa moo.

A very satisfying conclusion to this story. And now, please sir, give us the long awaited Chapter Eight for "So Not The End Of The World," ASAP.

Shego stepped up, sure Dr D isn't much, but when you're batting zero, he's a step in the right direction.

Kim also stepped up, got Ron.

Josh should be boiled in oil. He realized that his relationship with Kim was failing, so in the grand tradition of misery likes company, he destroyed Tara's.

However Tara and Ron got the shaft. Ron had someone who looked at the whole package and wanted him with all her heart. Tara had a guy who, dense as he is, liked her, but was stuck with this promise to another girl's parents.

We all know that Kim and Ron are destine be together, but the way MrDrP has written this story, this reader can't shake the feeling that Tara and Ron got cheated out of their relationship.

The chicken suited Shego doing the chicken dance was a five minute laugh. Shego lucked out, Kim could have told her to go apply for a job at KFC. A chicken that big would never have gotten out alive, just think of the drum stick. Hm, would that have made Shego finger licking good, though we might be able to ask Dr D later tonight after the Seder.

You know, I'm really going to miss Molloy's reviews, with a limit of 80 words, they are going to be somewhat shorter. I always learn something when I read them, but then I digress.

Ms Ella might be the best new villain, I mean really, destroying the credit market just to buy up companies cheap, that's so, smart.

I saw a political cartoon the other day, it depicted Charlie Brown and Linus in their traditional Halloween ghost costumes. CB was saying, "I got a rock." To which Linus replied, "You're lucky, I got ... stock." Sorry, just a little gallows humor.

Thanks for another great story.

One mistake, thought it was "cocoa moo" not "chocalte moo"? With that out of the way, hilarious and a another masterpiece. If only you had a video of Shego doing the chicken dance...the money you could make. (G) I wouldn't attempt any blackmail though, she never struck me as the type to pay up. LOL
This screams for a one shot follow up. Shego visits her favorite spa and discovers Barbara, firworks follow.
Grand to see Kim and Ron get together. Fate has to work that way. Tara and Kevin? If one looser was so good, Tara must have decided that next times a charm. All in all, a great rewrite and fantastic ending.
Thanks

so many questions unanswer. Who is this Penny? Is Ella going to live a lonely life? What about Tara, did she forget about Ron that fast? Will Shego and Drakkon(Which I love the pairing by the way) work out at the end? BUT the thing I want to know the most is Drakkens and Shego's night with Mama Lipsky. You should definitely write a side story for that. I'm dying to know who it went for this 'couple.' Sigh. It was a nice story. Loved it very much. Until next time.

As always, great story, great job.

I love a happy ending.

Sorry to not send a review, I mean heck, you take the time to create them, I should at least take the time to say in my best Bugs Bunny voice, "Eh, Tanx, Doc. Tanx alot."

Nice story. I like the way you worked the dynamics with everyone. The interaction with the characters was well thought out and done in a believable way. Seems like everyone got what they wanted, even Barbara Ela.

What a fantastic ending, MrDrP. Absolutely awesome, and completely different from the previous telling of the story! (Which made it even more awesome.) Anyway, keep up the wonderful writing!

Alls well that ends well, I suppose. Kim and Ron hook up,finally. Tara makes chess history by grabbing her knight, Josh finally gets somewhat of a happy ending, Drakken finally gets his date, and Barbara still,in a way Ron's mother, hopes the best for him and Kim while enjoying the fruits of her illgotten fortune. That's the way to end this! Thanks for the ride its been fun.

Nice wrap up, MrDrP. I got to say, you through me for a loop. I remember checking out the original version of this story you wrote as part of GWA and at the end of that story, Josh and Tara got together. I was expecting that to happen in this one, but apparently you decided to take a leaf out of your friend Campy's book and pair Tara up with Kevin. At first, I felt sad for Josh, but you matched him up in the end. I was kind of expecting the part with Drakken and Shego, but it surprised me that it happened 'without' the control chip. I guess Drakken has some ethnics after all (and a desire not to repeat history). Somehow, I think we can expect something like this from Drakken and Shego in SNTEOTW. So, the Mrs. Stoppable clone owns that greek spa, huh? Well, that's certainly surprising. I thought Kim and Ron would encounter her again. Well it's nice to see things turned out okay for everyone, and I look forward to more of your stories.
