I never would have thought of the Karigan/Fastion pairing but I really love them together! This story is really great, I can't wait to read more. Please update soon!

some very good bits in here between kari and the king, and fastion's thoughts at the end. they seemed rather more in character.

cute, but perhaps a little too strongly romantic, and the romance is going too fast. the characters seem... rather out of character. for instance, fastion would never be that unprofessional, especially in the presence of zachary. what makes fastion so great is that you don't know exactly what's going on in his head. he is subtle.
don't take this to mean i don't like the story, because i do. i'm saying it so you can maybe keep it in mind as you're writing the rest of the story.

you might want to separate the section with the old lady somehow. it's rather confusing that fastion and the captain are talking one moment and the next, the old lady is doing her incantation.

I've been reading this story for ages, and like the others I wondered whether you would pick it up again. I'm so glad you did! I love this pairing and you have written it really well. I love the bit with Alton and the Weapons, it would be quite interesting to see a conversation betwen him and Fastion.

Kari/Fastion is such a fun pair, and you are truly doing them justice. I like Karigan's thoughts "I will not kill a Rider..." in the first chap, and I can't wait for Karigan to get some alone time with Fastion.
