I love Watari trying so hard to look after them all, I love B's childish need, I love L's skepticism about the change, and I LOVE this line: "then was he reminded he once belonged to himself." That one makes the fic. It's not as good as your other stuff (being your first fic and all :P), but it has a nice undercurrent to it, a kind of quiet pain that hangs after it finishes, and that's lovely. J |
