I'm not usually a fan of AU's, but this is just beautiful. You very subtly create a whole new universe in the back ground which is wholely believable, while portraying such an aching love between the two.

Great story. I hope you come back to this story and think about possible doing more with it. I like the concept of a Romeo and Juliet type story except maybe without the whole dying thing. But maybe a story that shows that through Teyla and John that the two people would be united against the wraith.

Intriguing AU. Beautifully written. Interesting to see John without his baggage.
