Aw... This is so cute! It's also frustrating. Why don't they just admit they love each other before one of them gets killed and it's too late? Wait -- don't do that! I forbid you to kill Ruka or Kain. Or kill them both and have them meet up in heaven, but it can't be one or the other who dies. But still, it's really, really, cute. I was listening to "Lucy Meets Mr. Tumnus" on the Chronicles of Narnia soundtrack, and it seems to fit this chapter really well, especially the part with the fireflies. I wish that guys were really that thoughtful in real life.

I want to know what he says. I want to know what she'll do. I'm waiting for the climax, when she'll understand that he loves her- that he's always loved her- and realize she loves him, too. Finally they kiss! And it's just perfect (except for the fact that it ends, of course). Great job keeping Kain and Ruka in character, by the way.

I actually really like Ruka's brothers...good job on writing these OCs, by the way! And it's lovely that you gave us Kain's POV on their kiss in the last chapter.

WOW. Kain and Ruka the way you write them are just so sweet and amazing, it almost feels like Hino-sensei took the manga storyline and expanded it a bit to give us the story of all us shipper fangirls' dreams. :)

Just an observation: Kain, in some ways, seems so like Zero- if you think about it in the manga, for both of them, the girls they love are 100 percent obsessed with Kaname and don't even realise what Kain or Zero feel for them...so sad, and painful. But I hope that changes.

Please do update again soon, whenever you can (belatec congratulations on your wedding, too)- I can't wait to find out what happens next!
