Meosis is what occurs when a 2n cell divides to form two 1n pseudocells (or more specifically, when a 2n cell doubles to form a 4n cell, and then divides twice to form four 1n cells). The formation of gametes like sperm and eggs is meiosis. The formation of amebae, paramecia and regular somatic cells is not.

Wheeo! It could be clearer, though. I had to read it a few times before I realized that Sesshoumaru was changing from big-ass dog into evil pretty boy, not from evil pretty boy into human.
