I honestly understand Sam's NEED to get away. He IS afterall a teenager, and I think we all remember that feeling from our own teenagehood - unfortunatly Sam is now part of a bigger picture, a war, and he did afterall kill one of the bad guys leader and had some serious confrontations with Sector 7 (bet they wouldn't be too happy with him)
Due to all this, and of course the autobots ALIEN protectiveness, Sam now needs to consider the bigger picture - and I know that if my ward/child/loved one ran away with the possibility of them getting into danger, they would be punished big time!

And again, he IS a teenager (and as you pointed out earlier - he's been very angry and action out since Mission city) Of course he needs 'direction' in life.

I am very curious as to what's up with Sam's parents - they almost seemed mind-jammied to me. O_o

I really hope we'll get to see another update soon. :-)
