Very deep. I like how you take the little things that no one else notices and write really smart, emotional stories about them.

Funny--I remember reading that Lily had already frightened Petunia with her own magic (and that she couldn't control hers at that age, either). I remember Lily letting her 'friend' choke while she exchanged epithets with James (instead of actually helping). I remember her refusing to forgive Severus, even after humiliating himself at the portrait. I remember her marrying the man that threatened to hex her. I remember her saying nasty things about a poor boy's underwear and calling him "Snivellus".

And I remember Lily breaking the vase that Petunia sent her. After she'd married James.

But of course it has to be Snape's fault. Never hers. Gryffindors never have to say they're sorry.

This is a really sad little one-shot. Will it be made into a story, or is going to stay like this?
