*sniffs* So much emotion! Great job! *sniffs again* Poor Raphie...

Ok, let me start off by saying thank you. In all the years that I have been reading fanfiction, I've never seen a story deal with the after-effects of violent rape as thoroughly and believably as you have with this. I do not for a moment imagine that it was an easy thing to do and I am awed at how well you pulled it off. A story like this can so easily fall into melodrama, yet you avoided that.

Secondly, I'd like to add a moment of gushing over just how well written and well thought out this plot is. No one was left behind in this. I love the fact that Casey really did screw up. I mean, there really is no way that he could have known that the situation would get as bad as it did(in this version), but he really shouldn't have left. At the same time, you can't be mad at the guy...or at least I can't. I'm of the same mind as Mikey on this one.

Speaking of whom, I also appreciate the fact that you took the time to develop him as more than just the clueless kid brother in this. I kinda like that he probably was handling the situation best out of his other brothers but you also didn't try to turn him into some great sage who miraculously had all the answers to his family's needs. He's a tough character to get right(well...what I view as 'right' any way) and everything you wrote about him just...really rang true.(of course I'm not a Mikey fangirl, what are you talking bout? >_>)

I guess in the end I just really appreciated how flawed everyone was. They were all just doing the best that they could, but no one really knew what to do. I appreciate the way you demonstrated the effects of this kind of thing not just on the survivor, but on everyone close to that person. I appreciate the multiple coping strategies that were attempted...I just appreciate this story. There are too many writers out there who make light of this subject matter. It's wonderful to see someone treat it with the attention and care it deserves.

P.S.
The fact that you did this with Raph, by the way, kind of blows me away. I'm sure it's mainly because Raph is the turtle I relate to the least, but I wouldn't even know where to begin to try to understand how he would react to this situation. Kudos for a fine piece of character comprehension.

This chapter makes me wanna hug him and comfort him, though I know he wouldn't allow me... Poor guy...

I also love how much the others care for him and try their best to act normal. I wonder why he attacked Casey though...

well-written.i think you kinda screwed the guys in the sense that they couldn't do anything right, and honestly, Raph was the focus thre, not their own pain, even though they shouldn't have ignored it, it's about priority. adn yes, sometimes you have to drag people out of a pit, cuz they CAN'T do it themselves. it's sad he had to seperate from them totally, and in the end, the healing for all of them did come by being together. but t'was a fic worth reading. kudos.

stupid michaelangelo. i get what he's trying to do, but damnit, when you love someone sometimes you have to do what's necessary, even if that means interfereing. it's not about what you have the "right" to do, or respecting their choices, it's about making sure they're okay. saving them despite themselves, until they're in a positionm or state of mind to do it themselves.

Wow... this definitely deserves more reviews. So far, this story is incredibly emotional. I wish I'd given it a chance sooner!

Wow. Amazing story. I was absolutely riveted from the first page! Fantastic work with Raph dealing with the whole thing ... really couldnt imagine it going down any other way - I like the way you steered him from trying to kill himself thou, just as a change of pace =D

OH MY GOODNESS.

Okay, that's out of my system now...

This story was AMAZING. I sat down at about 1, 1:30 AM to start reading Eighteen Minutes, and it's 3:43 AM when I'm writing this. So, you know, points for keeping my attention occupied. I only got up to get microwave taquitos, an orange, and to let my dog out a few times.

You kept the characters in, well, character quite nicely. In one chapter, I can't remember which one, you said something about Raph took really good care of his body, like, not drinking, smoking, any of that jazz. Most fanfics have him drinking and being all rebelly, but I never really saw him that way. So, more bonus points.

You dealt with a very serious subject in an appropriate manner. Everyone's reactions were very realistic. I thought the way that Don was seriously worried about infection was done well--most writers would not think about that, and if they did, it would come off as being awkward and wrong in the characters.

Well, if you're anything like me, all this praise is making you feel uncomfortable, and besides that, I need to get to bed. I'm slightly concerned this review didn't make much sense, as 'm pretty tired.

So, I'll end this with saying: Both Eighteen Minutes and Halfway Point made my evening after a rather long day. Good job, and more bonus points.

Amazing. Simply, truly, utterly amazing. Pardon me if I sound melodramatic. Dude, I thought you were like never going to finish this one, and it was driving me nuts because it's such a great story. And I LOVE the ending, how it kinda takes you back to the first chapter, when the whole thing started, and it seems like forever ago. The characters were developed perfectly, I loved the interactions, and how everyone had to get better before everyone could actually start GETTING better. Fantastic. I love it. An amazing ending. Seriously, I can't say enough, so pardon me once more for rambling lol

Other than this great story, i love how you show Raph's rape effecting everyone.
