| Sings-off-key 2008-05-24 ch 1, | abuseWhat a fun idea and a promising beginning. I do hope you have time to work on this one. Can't wait to see what Ellie finds when she scours the streets... |
| CrazeeFfan 2008-05-16 ch 1, | abuseOoh - loving the idea, here. Just how many stories do you plan on writing at once, may I ask? I find my *two* troublesome, as is. I might even have to drop one, I'm starting to think. And this is your ... seventh, I believe? Ye Gods, give yourself a break, woman! I loved the original party composition. You might have guessed as much. But ... I was really looking forward to see you write Skie and Garrick! So, so much. I thought maybe I could improve my writing by observing (read: copying) yours. That, or my pathetic attempts next to yours would completely deter me. :) Loving the cook angle. Loving the Bhaalspawn pride. Loving Ellie - a name, I adore, by the way. Not loving that damn Montaron. Of all the characters to stay alive. Dagnabbit! I should have guessed. Looking forward to this being updated, even if it isn't often. Ellie is ... refreshing, as a character (I'd say especially next to all the other BigStrongBhaalspawn, but actually, everyone works hard at making their characters NotSoStrong. So I won't) :). Don't stop rocking. |
| Ananke Adrasteia 2008-05-12 ch 1, | abuseHeh. I agree with Kendris. Plot bunnies rule in my head, while starting one story and keeping to the protagonist is... boring. I am whimsical, I think. I want to see Ellie in action, though. Is she Murder By Chocolate? :D |
| Kendris 2008-05-11 ch 1, | abuseGod, it's nice to know that someone else is being continually molested by plot bunnies! Looks to be yet another fresh angle on the game, and I loved Ellie's proud declaration of her profession (reminded me of Evelyn in The Mummy). I'll wait patiently for updates |
| AlsoSprachOdin 2008-05-10 ch 1, | abuseThe premise of a class-less protagonist sounds pretty vanilla, but I'm very glad to see Monty here, just to read some other characters than the typical ones (Minsc and Jaheira for example). Doesn't sound like the quest for Imoen's rescue is based on any motive quite heartfelt enough to drive Ellie through the long, toiling road of 15.0 gold and services to one of two rather disreputable organisations. I guess revenge is going to play half of the motive here. I liked Garrick's wailing exit. "Sir Garrick ran away. Bravely ran away - away. When danger reared it's ugly head, he bravely turned his tail and fled, yes brave sir Garrick turned about, and gallantly he chickened out..." |
