In terms of Casey's character,that made a lot of sense. Sometimes holding onto a fantasy feels safer than facing reality. It will be interesting to find out how their reality holds up.

This is awesome! Seriously, I'm not one for those 'they met before' stories but this was so...realistic in a way that it was just an escape for them, something they got into accidentally and just wanted to try. And how Derek seems really in-character because he's not angsting about Casey all the time. In fact he doesn't even think of her as a "girl" till he sees her on her bed, half-naked (which is a legitimate turn-on for any guy) and THEN starts thinking about her. And Casey with all her fantasies seems real too, as does the fact that Derek has no recollection (and doesn't keep thinking about that girl whom he met some time, which would've definitely detracted from the awesomeness of this).
And of course she wanted it so badly (and he was just...a guy) so the second time makes sense too!
AND Casey's line FTW! I'm so glad she finally called him out on it, and I can't WAIT to see how it develops further! This is really well written! :)
