I totally understand it. Here, when there is a wake from someone my mother knows, she goes and then tells me that she had a blast. I always thought she was mad and very direspectful because in those wakes some people that know each other gathered up in a circle and drink coffee all night while laughing like mad. But then I grew older and understood that it isn't a bad thing to do. Not at least if the one whose grieving by crying isn't around (that would certainly be disrespectful)...Every death is a reminder that life is too short and we should always enjoy every second of it. And when someone dies, he/she should be remembered with the best of the smiles, remembering the good times, not the bad ones.
